Service Description

Best for Curious wine drinkers who want to feel confident choosing wines for warm weather, gatherings, and everyday enjoyment—without overthinking it. Summer Wine Essentials is a guided tasting experience designed to help you navigate what to drink when the weather warms up. As temperatures rise, the way we experience wine changes. Heavier wines can feel overwhelming, while the right selections feel refreshing, balanced, and effortless. Led by Suzanne Bonham, this session focuses on helping you understand why certain wines shine in warmer weather and how to confidently choose bottles that feel just as good on a relaxed patio evening as they do at a gathering with friends. Through curated tastings and relaxed discussion, you’ll explore a selection of 4 to 5 summer friendly wines that highlight freshness, acidity, and versatility. Along the way, you’ll learn how temperature, acidity, and body shape the way a wine feels in warmer weather, what makes a wine feel refreshing rather than heavy, and how to choose bottles that suit patios, picnics, and casual gatherings without overcomplicating the experience. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what to look for when selecting summer wines, a set of go to styles you can confidently order or purchase, and the ability to make choices that feel intentional rather than uncertain. Format In-person · Instructor-led educational tasting Duration 2 hours
