What Makes These Courses Different from Single Classes?
Single-session classes are wonderful introductions, a fun way to explore a theme or learn a specific topic in an evening. They’re perfect for casual learners, social groups, and anyone wanting a short, enjoyable experience.
But multi-day courses offer something completely different:
Time and space to absorb the material
Structured learning that builds session by session
Guided tastings that deepen your palate over several days
A clear path for growth, from beginner to advanced
Supportive instruction designed to build lasting confidence
Each level—Wine 101, 201, and 301—is a 4-Day, 16-Hour Course, giving you enough time to understand, practice, taste, and grow.
Wine 101: Deep-Dive Course (4 Days / 16 Hours)
A warm, relaxed introduction to the world of wine.
Wine 101 is perfect if you’re new to wine or simply want a clearer, more intuitive understanding of what you’re tasting. Over four days, we explore how wine is made, how to taste with intention, and what shapes different grapes and styles.
You’ll learn about major regions, classic varieties, tasting structure, pairing basics, and how to choose wine with confidence. Everything is approachable, welcoming, and paced so you never feel rushed.
Choose Wine 101 if you:
are new to wine education
enjoy wine but feel unsure where to begin
want a calm, guided introduction to tasting analysis
want to understand the basics before moving on
This course gives you a strong foundation and the confidence to explore more deeply.
Wine 201: Intermediate Exploration (4 Days / 16 Hours)
For learners ready to deepen their knowledge and tasting skills.
Wine 201 picks up where Wine 101 leaves off and introduces you to the world’s classic wine regions. Through side-by-side comparisons, you’ll explore how climate, soil, and tradition shape a wine’s character. You’ll also learn more about winemaking decisions and how they influence style, texture, and expression.
Expect more structured tasting assessments, more regional context, and a clearer sense of what you enjoy and why.
Choose Wine 201 if you:
have completed Wine 101 or have basic wine knowledge
can follow a guided tasting analysis comfortably
want to understand regional styles and structure
enjoy comparing wines and noticing differences
want to refine your tasting vocabulary and clarity
This course builds your analytical skills and prepares you for advanced exploration.
Wine 301: Advanced Exploration (4 Days / 16 Hours)
For serious enthusiasts and professionals seeking deeper insight.
Wine 301 brings your wine knowledge into sharper focus. We explore benchmark regions, advanced tasting structure, aging and evolution, terroir, and blind evaluation. You’ll strengthen your ability to identify grape, place, style, and quality through calm, guided practice.
This course is welcoming yet rigorous—advanced learning without intimidation.
Choose Wine 301 if you:
have completed Wine 201 or have strong foundational knowledge
want to improve your ability to analyze wine
enjoy diving into regional nuance and structure
are working toward professional-level understanding
want to confidently taste, compare, and describe complex wines
